Snarling is a nice way to put it. Jean had been ready to rip Eren's throat out. Bertholdt had fortunately gotten between them and stopped it, but it had been a tense few minutes. Eren, to his credit, never tried that again.

"What?" Jean is genuinely baffled by the look Marco shoots him. "I'm not doing anything!"

His scent has other plans. While Jean might not be doing anything purposefully, his scent is practically billowing now, so strong even Jean can smell it. It reminds him of the winter holidays, and curling up under a warm, clean quilt.
